Cotton Kurtas for Women

Bagru print uses earthy, natural-dye palettes (indigo, madder red, iron-black) on off-white grounds, with bolder motifs. Sanganeri print features finer, more delicate floral patterns on light backgrounds, typically printed in finer detail. Chanderi is a lightweight silk-cotton blend surprisingly cool and breathable for a silk-feel fabric, which is why it's a festive favourite even in warmer months. Layer with a cotton kurta slip for opacity.

Dry clean only is the safest route for gota patti and hand-embroidered kurtas. If you must hand wash, use cold water and don't scrub the embroidered area. Store flat or on a padded hanger to preserve the gota work.
