Quilted Cotton Jackets
Explore quilted cotton jackets for women in hand block print, bagru print, and plain handloom cotton. Cotton-on-cotton quilting gives light insulation suited to AC offices, cool evenings, and North Indian winters. Layer over kurtas, dresses, or saris for an Indo-Western look.
Handloom Waistcoats
Our handloom waistcoats for women are sleeveless layering pieces in pure linen and cotton - designed to wear over kurtas, dresses, and tops. Pair with linen cotton trousers and a structured top for office wear, or layer over a handloom kurta for festive occasions.
Cotton Slips for Kurtas and Dresses
Our cotton slips for kurtas and dresses solve the one problem every Indian wardrobe has: semi-sheer handloom fabrics that need a clean base layer. Pick a kurta slip in cotton voile for chanderi or block print kurtas, or a dress slip in cotton for linen and magyar sleeve dresses. Available in nude, black, cream, and white.
Shop by Craft - Bagru, Sanganeri, Block Print, and Gota Work
Indirookh's craft DNA comes from the artisan clusters around Jaipur. Each piece carries the hand of a printer, weaver, or embroiderer - never the press of a screen or a digital printer.
Bagru Print and Sanganeri Print
Bagru print uses earthy natural-dye palettes - indigo, madder red, iron-black - hand-stamped on off-white grounds with bold motifs. Find bagru print kurtas, bagru printed dresses, bagru print tops, and bagru print jackets across the catalogue. Sanganeri print features finer floral patterns on light backgrounds, hand block printed in fine detail - explore sanganeri print kurtas, sanganeri dresses, and sanganeri print tops.
Hand Block Print, Gota Work, and Indigo Dye
Hand block printing runs across every category - from block print dresses and block print kurtas to block print quilted jackets and block print tunics. For festive occasions, our gota patti kurtas and hand-embroidered pieces add traditional Rajasthani craft to contemporary silhouettes. Indigo dye runs through dresses, kurtas, pants, and jackets in the seasonal palette.
Magyar Sleeve, Shell Tuck, and Mandarin Collar
Beyond print, our design language is built on traditional cuts adapted for modern wear. Magyar sleeve tops and magyar sleeve dresses use a one-piece sleeve-and-bodice cut for maximum airflow. Shell tuck tunics add ruffled pleating at the neckline. Mandarin collar kurtas and mandarin collar dresses give clean, modern necklines that work for office and festive contexts alike.
Shop by Fabric - Linen, Cotton, Chanderi, and Kota Doria
Every fabric in the Indirookh range is chosen for breathability, hand-feel, and longevity in Indian weather. We don't use polyester or rayon in our apparel body fabrics - what you see is what you wear.
Linen and Linen-Cotton
Pure linen and linen-cotton blends run through our linen dresses for women, linen cotton pants, wide leg linen pants, linen joggers, cotton-linen shorts, and linen waistcoats. Breathable, wrinkle-tolerant, fast-drying - the gold standard for Indian summers.
Cotton Voile, Cotton Flex, and Handloom Cotton
Light, soft, and breathable, our handloom cotton runs through cotton tops, cotton kurtas, cotton dresses, and cotton voile slips. Cotton flex adds drape for shirt dresses and tunics; pure handloom cotton holds block print and natural dyes beautifully.
Chanderi Silk and Kota Doria
For festive and dressier occasions, chanderi silk kurtas bring a lightweight silk-cotton hand-feel that's cool even in warmer months. Kota doria dupattas in cream, indigo, and natural-dye colourways pair across the kurta range. Layer chanderi and kota pieces over a cotton voile kurta slip for a clean, opaque finish.
The Indirookh Difference
Indirookh exists to put craft back into everyday ethnic wear. We work directly with handloom weavers, block printers, and tailors in Jaipur - small batches, original prints, and quality control that you can feel in every seam.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does Indirookh sell?
Indirookh is a homegrown label crafting contemporary and everyday ethnic wear from Jaipur. The catalogue covers linen and cotton dresses, handloom kurtas, cotton tops and tunics, linen cotton pants, wide leg pants, culottes, joggers, festive pants, cotton shorts, quilted jackets, waistcoats, and cotton slips.
Is Indirookh a handloom brand?
Yes. Every piece is woven, printed, cut, and stitched in Jaipur using traditional handloom techniques - bagru print, sanganeri print, hand block printing, gota patti embroidery, and chanderi weaves. No polyester or rayon in our body fabrics, no digital prints, no mass production lines.
What size range does Indirookh offer?
Sizes XS to XXL across most of the catalogue, cut true to Indian body shapes. Each product page has a measurement chart in inches and centimetres - measure your bust, waist, and hips and follow the chart rather than your usual brand size, as handloom fabrics vary slightly piece to piece.
Do you ship across India? Is COD available?
Yes - we ship across India with cash-on-delivery available everywhere. Free shipping on orders above ₹600, and 7-day easy returns on unworn pieces. International shipping is available to select countries; check the cart page for live rates.
Is handloom clothing sustainable?
Handloom is inherently low-impact: traditional looms use low energy and water compared to power looms, our prints use natural and azo-free dyes, and our packaging is recyclable. We make in small batches to avoid overproduction, which is the biggest sustainability issue in fast fashion.
How do I care for handloom clothing?
Cold water hand wash for the first three washes to set natural dyes, then gentle machine cycle. Don't bleach. Iron inside-out on medium heat. Line dry in shade - direct sun fades natural dyes faster than wash cycles do. Pieces with gota work and hand embroidery are dry-clean recommended.
