Men's Cotton Shirts: Printed and Linen Shirts
Indirookh's men's shirt collection is a small, considered range of printed shirts, handloom cotton shirts, and linen shirts. Each shirt is hand block printed, cut in Jaipur, and stitched in breathable cotton and linen. Same craft DNA as our women's range, scaled to a tighter men's edit.
The range covers yellow printed shirts, sea green shirts, indigo cotton shirts, white printed shirts, and full-sleeve handloom shirts in seasonal natural-dye colourways. For couple co-ord looks, pair with matching pieces in our women's cotton kurta sets or handloom dresses.
Why handloom shirts work for Indian men
- Pure handloom cotton and linen, breathable in Indian summers
- Hand block printed in Bagru and Sanganeri, not screen-printed on polyester
- Indo-Western cuts that work with both formal trousers and casual chinos
- Full-sleeve and half-sleeve options across the range
- Sizes S to XXL with true-to-body fits
Frequently Asked Questions
Are these shirts office-appropriate?
The plain handloom and subtle block print shirts work for smart-casual office settings. Bolder Bagru and Sanganeri prints read more festive and weekend-friendly. The cut and print level are noted on each product page.
What's the difference between handloom and regular cotton shirts?
Handloom cotton is woven on traditional looms in small batches. The fabric has small natural variations in weave and texture that mill-made shirts don't have, and it breathes significantly better because the weave is less tightly compressed.
How do I care for a hand block printed cotton shirt?
Cold water hand wash for the first three washes to set the natural dye. After that, gentle machine cycle. Iron inside-out on medium heat to protect the print. Don't bleach. Line dry in shade.
Do handloom shirts shrink in the wash?
Our handloom cotton is pre-shrunk before stitching, so expect minimal shrinkage on the first wash. Avoid hot water and tumble dry, which can affect the weave over time.
Can I get custom sizes?
Standard sizes run S to XXL. For chest, sleeve, or length alterations, email support@indirookh.com with your measurements within 24 hours of order. Small alterations are usually free; major resizing carries a small additional charge.
